Jesus tells us that we are to give
alms, pray and fast for God alone, without in any way looking for the approval
of other. By giving alms without a show- off, Prayer without ill-feeling to our
brethren, fasting by controlling ones temptations of the world - all lead to
the purity of our piety and acceptable for God.
