Jesus is circumcised, named and presented in the temple.
Jesus’ parents show great fidelity to the Law of Moses and to everything the
temple stands for. Jesus’ life starts from the temple. Our Day also must start from the temple- the
Eucharist. It reminds us to start any venture in life with the name of Jesus
invoked and his blessings sought.
