The eternal
divine Word, though being pure spirit, becomes a creature with a mortal human
body. The phrase ‘he pitched his tent among us’ (14 a) reminds us the sacred
Tent that served as the sacred dwelling in the desert, in which God was present
to the Jews (Ex.33:7-11) Now that powerful divine presence is being experienced
by us in Jesus in the Eucharist and in
tabernacle.
