Mk. 12: 18-27: Jesus reveals the mysteries of the
resurrection here. Unlike the ‘resurrection’ of Jairus’ daughter and Lazarus
who were only recovered the life they had before, the resurrection that Jesus
means is a resurrection in God himself. The resurrection is not even the
survival of the soul but a transformation and raising up of our whole person.
This will be through grace and the work of God: we will be reborn of God
himself.
