Mk 6: 53-56: We see a demanding crowd around Jesus.
They use the presence of Jesus to get more than what they want to give him. We often
make the mistake of demanding Jesus to be homely, to use him as a friend. It would
rejoice the heart of Jesus if more often we come to him to offer our love, our
service, our devotion and less often to demand from him the help we need.
