Jn. 14: 1-6

Jesus consoles his disciples by saying that he would come back and that his presence would be there with them always. Jesus goes to the Father to prepare a place for the disciples. Heaven and earth are His place (3:13) where God abides there would be his abode. So whoever is with Jesus would already be a member of his kingdom.
