Lk. 7:11-17: The raising the Widow’s son reminds
us the way the raising of the widow’s son by the prophet Elijah(1 King
17:18-24).Jesus is identified by the people who said a great prophet has
appeared among us, God has visited his people. Jesus has always taken care of
the widow’s plights in the gospels. It is for us to show mercy to widows,
oppressed, children and the have-nots.
