Jn. 17: 6-11: Jesus reveals what discipleship is
all about. It is based on the realization that Jesus came forth from God. It
issues in obedience and is destined-the disciples are being given by God, and
the spirit of God moves their hearts. Through them glory has come to Jesus.
They are being commissioned to a task- to unite all in Christ Jesus.
