Mt. 17:
14-27: Jesus respond to the epileptic’s father with a call for deep hearted
faith. The faith that can move mountains is more than intellectual assent. It
is trust in God. This confidence is filled with the certainty that God will
protect the innermost part of us and that our deepest core is safe in His
hands. Such total trust can do wondrous things and achieve great result. This
faith Jesus expects from his eschatological community.
