A universal
ethical norm is proposed by Jesus to tell us what we must do in order to be
saved. It is a parable of separation as in (13: 24-30; 47-50) as well as a
description of the judgment. It gives the message to live one’s life with
vigilance as well as actively “doing good” while awaiting the Lord.
