Our response
to an injury must not be a reaction of hatred to what has been done to us, but
must be an action inspired by love. Love
for enemies then would mean a spiritual attitude of concern for all gifted to
us by the spirit, which reflects God’s unconditional love for us. It is the
heart of Christian life.
