Jn. 12: 20-26:
The coming of the Greeks in search of Jesus indicates symbolically the coming
of the ‘hour’ of his suffering, death and resurrection, which will bring the
Gentiles and the Jews together. Jesus sees himself like the rain that falls to
the ground to give life- advocates his disciples to follow the same path of
‘self-emptying’.
