26. VII WED of Epiphany

Jn. 4: 27-38: The episode we read from the Gospel today gives us the message that to do the will of God is the only way to happiness, peace and power. This is the motivating force of the Samaritan woman to preach Jesus to the villagers. We see here that when an opportunity is being given, it is being used with a challenge. This is the way of every missionary.
