Lk. 14: 25-35: Jesus speaks about discipleship
which should be authentic. The Lord wants a total surrender. Careful planning
is part of a serious effort to follow Jesus. Faith in Jesus can be expressed in
many trivial and unsatisfying ways. It can also be a radical and penetrating
way of living with depth and satisfaction.
