Jesus
is the light and direction for those who lost purpose in life, hope for those
in despair, self confidence to those who are in self-pitying, peace for those
who are in tensions of life, love for those who despise others. Here in this
passage the images of light, salvation, fortress and living water are used to
mean the above – a way to life in Jesus.
