7. I SAT of Annunciation

Mt. 12: 14-21: As usual Jesus and the Pharisees are in conflict. Messiah did not come with a coercive power but as Isaiah’s sympathetic, helping servant of God. God gives hope to the discouraged and strength to be weary – the bruised reeds and smoldering wicks among us. The real power of God is found in His continuing presence among His people as their source of life, strength and light.
