17. Mt. 7: 15-27

Jesus forsee that the false prophets of Old Testament times can be repeated in our present times and we are told to be vigilant towards those people. He also exhorts his people not to become false disciples but genuine followers. They are distinguished from their fruit ie. True faith works through love (Gal 5:6) it is known by analyzing concrete situations of their preaching and not by debating about their ideas.
