12. III FRI of Apostles – Sacred Heart of Jesus
Jn. 19: 30-37:
Water that flowed from the side of Christ stands for the powerful new life as well as the spirit. Blood expresses the saving power of Jesus’ death. The Salvific power is displayed in these symbols of blood and water.
