Mt. 24:
45-51: Jesus speaks directly to the leaders of the church. They are standing
only temporarily in His Place. They represent but do not replace Jesus. He also
speaks to us, as the people who might forget the goal for which we are working.
The short run success or failure are taken as final and forget our place in the
larger design of Jesus. Christian tradition flourishes in communal setting and
we are advised to have collective light, life and communion.
